World Washer and Stamping official changes name to Crystal Engineering - Chicago

Dear World Washer & Stamping Customers,

As you are aware, the ownership of World Washer & Stamping changed in December 2019.  Our ownership team has rolled out a significant number of improvements since we joined the company. 

Some key highlights of the improvements are:

-          Shared our vision and company values with the employees

-          Provided employees with upgraded tools to improve the quality of their production

-          Added and upgraded equipment to increase capacity, improve safety and improve part quality

-          Organized and painted the shop

In making these changes, which required a tremendous amount of effort by our team, our primary objective was to minimize disruption to our customers. We believe these changes have been seamless from your vantage point. 

In addition to the above improvements, we are planning an ERP conversion and a new name for the company, which is the reason for our communication today. 

We are changing the name of the company to Crystal Engineering – Chicago, effective January 1, 2022.  The name change to Crystal Engineering – Chicago is to align ourselves, and unite our brand, with our corporate headquarters in Newburyport, Massachusetts.  We will continue operations in our Addison, IL facility. 

From a customer perspective, this change should be seamless as well.  World Washer & Stamping was built on servicing its customers.  Crystal Engineering – Chicago will continue that mission with an eye to the future. 

The ERP conversion – to Plex Online – will take place in the first quarter of 2022.  While the documentation will look different, you will still receive the usual, excellent customer service.
