I have been doing a lot of reflecting on how fortunate I am to have great family and friends that I count on for support and guidance. My other family is the one at Crystal Engineering. I often refer to our production folks as “frontline guys.” In normal times they show up and do their jobs with little fanfare to make sure all the various parts are manufactured accurately and safely. All these components are part of the vehicles, airplanes, medical devices, and military equipment that our country needs to be safe, strong, and thriving. Our frontline folks have always done this day in and day out.

During these extraordinary times we all find ourselves in, Crystal’s entire staff keeps showing up and doing their jobs. The press operators fulfilling orders for ventilator components, the machine shop making parts to help keep critical medical components in supply, the engineering department 3D printing parts for PPE; this is who they are and what they do. I am so proud to come to work every day and see our folks giving their all and I am eternally grateful for their drive and perseverance. It inspires me to do my job as best I know how. I continually strive to improve, and I see that embodied daily in our plant.

To all the Crystal Engineering family, thank you for what you do!

I have always known the caliber of people we have here and now our valued suppliers and customers do as well. The recognition is long overdue for the frontline folks of our economy to be truly labeled what they are - Essential.
