Production Metal Stamping
Crystal Engineering handles production runs of up to millions of parts on a daily basis utilizing Bruderer High Speed presses and automated tumbling and packaging lines. Our short run stamping area handles low to mid-volume production requirements.
Wire EDM Services
CEC employs the use of Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) for many applications such as Medical Components, Stamping Dies, Form Tools, Gears, Shims, Extrusion Dies, Fixtures and Keyways. In conjunction with our Wire EDM capability, Crystal Engineering offers CNC Milling to make parts complete to print or as a primary or secondary operations.
Product Development, R & D, Design Engineering
Crystal Engineering will assist customers with design for manufacture issues and prototype development. After consulting with Crystal Engineering at the design stage, we can often suggest cost savings ideas to our customers before final drawings are sent out for bid.
Tool & Designing and Building
Crystal Engineering designs and builds the tools and stamping dies used in our stamping operation in order to achieve complete control of our stamping process.
SHED-IT™
Shed-It™ is new concept in shedder pins for the metal stamping industry proven out in our most demanding high speed stamping operations at Crystal Engineering. The Shed-It™ is made from pyrathane and has proven to be far superior to the steel/spring shedders used in the past.
